Those that I've had the opportunity to get to know are quite welcoming and pleasant...oh, but you must not get into any fights here or damage the property. They're very, very severe on people for things like that and their methods are quite...archaic.

They didn't tell us their rules about violence before...two people attacked each other I suppose and there was a trial by combat. To the death. We later learned that it was...not permanent and she didn't have to kill him, but it was still set up.
And recently there were three people put in the stocks...two of them were whipped badly. It broke the skin...
You can't hurt other people or the Keep or they'll punish you, okay?

It's fine though. I'd rather people know the full extent than be surprised later. There is no escaping or preventing Deior's "justice" unfortunately.
