I think I have half the damn road stuck in my side.
[The gravel rash went deep, her jacket and pants were scuffed and torn from the landing and the bruising was already starting to show. Not to mention, she was probably up for a cracked rib or two. Throw in that her head already hurt from the night out before and one could say it was definitely not Grapple's day.]
[Zhaneel might have missed this if not for the attentiveness she shows the journals. As it is, she brightens at the very familiar sounding voice; although the fact that it is a bit pain laced is certainly not something pleasing.
Grapple, get ready for a whole lot of gryphon face up in your journal page!]
Grrrapple, are you alrrrright?
[Zhaneel hasn't had the pleasure of dealing with someone that has come back to the Keep before, so she (regretably) doesn't realize that this Grapple doesn't know her yet. Oops.]
[Zhaneel's wide gaped beak slowly begins to close at Grapple's less than excited response. She hadn't seen the woman in weeks and was rather thrilled, but Grapple's words kinda sorta put that all on hold.]
We met at the therrrmal poolsss, Grrrapple.
[Her head tilts slightly to one side and her voice softens, ears flicking first forward and then back against her skull.]
You do not rrrememberrrr?
[She is now trilling because she is just a bit upset. Not at Grapple herself, mind, but the situation not going at all as she expected it to.]
[Thermal pools... thermal pools... Grapple can't remember the last time she was near anything like that. Perhaps when she was up near the old Swiss border a few months back. Even so, a face like Zhaneel's is a fairly distinct one.]

I'll live though.

Shepard. I'm stuck here, same as you are. You must have gotten snatched up at a rude time.

[For once it's nice to meet someone with a title as odd sounding as hers.]
A truck figured he'd fight me for the same patch of road. Can say that he won, if only cause of his size.
[Oh shit. Where the hell is her bike?]
I uh... got up close and personal with the road.

[She figures there's a good reason for the lack of talking, but she can't help but be wary.]
What kind of healing?
[It's the easiest way to work out if Jael is really friend or foe.]

[She hasn't tried to guns to find out how useless they are. Yet.]
Who're you? Another prisoner in this dump?

[He scoffs at the use of the word.]
I, for one, refuse to believe any of the garbage being spoken by those supposedly in charge.

[Might as well go for information while she can.]
You got a letter, right? What kind of crap are they trying to pull?

[Wait. What. Someone knows her name? Grapple stares at the video of the gryphon.]
You know me?
[She has no idea what Zhaneel is, or who for that matter, but Grapple is already resisting the urge to comment on how cute she is.]
