Author's Note: This was inspired by the movie "Silence of the Lambs" (you all should watch it if you haven't already; it's almost Halloween and it's a pretty good movie). I weaved in a few quotes from the movie here and there too. Eheh.

"Don't. Fuck. With. Me."
Those were the first words that escaped Kim Sunggyu's mouth as he pulled out a chair and proceeded to sit down in front of the jail cell that held one of the most dangerous criminals in all of Seoul (and maybe, even all of South Korea).
The stern man was simply met with an amused snort and a stifled laugh. "I'm sorry, what?"
"Don't. Freaking. Fuck. With. Me." enunciated Sunggyu, as he stuffed a hand into a pocket in his trousers (he was feeling uncomfortable, having given up his gun once entering the institution, but the man in front of him didn't need to know that). "I don't want to have to deal with your bullshit. Just tell me what I want to know."
"My, my... Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this evening." The young man within the cell grinned as he stretched - or stretched as much as a person could whose arms were bound within a straitjacket. "You don't even have the proper manners to greet me, and yet you're already demanding something of me? That's a little rude, don't you think?"
"I was told you already knew why I'm here."
"That doesn't change the fact that a greeting is in order." The young man continued to grin as he stood up and made his way closer to the bars that were separating the two males. "Name? Birthday? Occupation?"
"I don't feel obligated to tell criminals anything."
"Well then, I don't feel obligated to tell you anything either, good sir."
A tense silence passed between the two of them before Sunggyu finally sighed and opened his mouth. "Kim Sunggyu. April 28th, 1989. Criminal investigator." At the last part, Sunggyu showed off his badge to the imprisoned man.
"Mmm, Kim Sunggyu, eh? I'm Jang Dongwoo... Although, you know that already, don't you?" He laughed before licking his lips and moving closer still to the bars separating the two males. "You're my 'hyung' - do you mind if I call you hyung?"
"I'd mind very much if you called me that."
"Hm, that's a shame. I've always wanted a hyung, you see." Dongwoo smiled good-naturedly before attempting a shrug. "And it seems you're a newbie to the criminal investigation scene - was it really wise of your superiors to send you here to question me? I have, supposedly, killed hundreds of innocents and I am, supposedly, nothing more than a 'damn cannibalistic psycho'."
Sunggyu raised an eyebrow. "I may be new, but I graduated at the top of my class. I've met school bullies scarier than you; I think I can handle this."
Dongwoo stared at the male in front of him before bursting out into laughter. After several moments, the young man tilted his head to the side and peered up at the other. "You're quite the interesting one, Kim Sunggyu-sshi. I like you already. Mmm, I'd appreciate if you wouldn't sit so far away while we're conversing though."
Sunggyu stiffened slightly in his seat before inching a foot closer to the prison bars. "Better?"
"A little closer would be nice."
He inched another foot. "Better?" he repeated.
"Mmm, just a little closer."
He inched one more foot, bringing him to a distance close enough to be able to touch Dongwoo if he wanted to. "Better?"
"Much - thank you for listening to my request." Dongwoo's eyes curved upwards as he smiled again (and Sunggyu would be damned if he ever admitted aloud that he found it slightly endearing). "Now that we've gotten all the formalities out of the way, what is it that you needed from me, Kim Sunggyu-sshi?"
(Sunggyu would be damned if he ever admitted aloud that hearing his name roll off of the other's lips made his skin tingle.) "Before you were pronounced the Korean version of Hannibal the Cannibal, you were well-known as one of the best psychologists around. You know how to get inside the minds of others. We... We need someone like that for our current case."
"Oh, how flattering. Thank you, really, for your kind words." Dongwoo grinned (and Sunggyu couldn't help but wonder what wouldn't bring a smile to the other's face). "What is this current case you speak of?"
Sunggyu hesitated before reaching into his briefcase and pulling out a thick file of documents. He slowly walked over to the cell and slid the case file between the bars without a word.
Dongwoo raised an eyebrow as he stared at the documents at his feet. "As much as I appreciate you taking the time and effort to compile a copy of the case file for me... Without usage of my hands, I can't really read it."
Sunggyu looked troubled for a moment, before taking in a deep breath. "If I get someone to unbind your arms, do you promise not to harm anyone?"
Dongwoo simply smiled in response before Sunggyu exhaled and left to get a guard.
---
"How's it going with that bastard over there?"
Sunggyu looked up at the guard who had been attempting to make small talk. "Uh... It's... It's going surprisingly smoothly so far..."
"Mhmm... Well, just don't forget what he is."
"And what is that?"
"A monster - a pure psychopath."
---
Fifteen minutes later, Dongwoo was now free from his straitjacket. He nodded his head to the guard (who simply shook his head and gave the finger in return) before focusing his attention on Sunggyu who had sat down and scooted away again.
"You know, I used to be a dancer in high school." As if to prove his point, Dongwoo turned on the charm and winked before contorting and moving his body to an imaginary rhythm.
Sunggyu applauded the young man slowly before clearing his throat. "That's nice, but I'd appreciate it if we could re-focus on the case at hand. I don't have all day."
"Mmm, you need to learn to stop and smell the roses." Dongwoo licked his lips before stretching and allowing his shirt to ride up slightly (Sunggyu didn't fail to notice the defined lines of muscle on the other male's abdomen). "Patience is a virtue, you know? I've learned that time isn't all that of the essence during my stay here."
"I'm not the one who's imprisoned for eating people." Sunggyu deadpanned.
"Touche." Dongwoo shrugged before bending down to pick up the ignored file of documents and flipping through them, eyes skimming left and right in a hurried manner. Within a minute, Dongwoo abruptly closed the file and handed it back to Sunggyu. "I think I've read enough."
"You hardly spent time looking through it though."
"I repeat, I think I've read enough." Amused, Dongwoo coughed before scratching the back of his neck and looking thoughtful. "In essence, this is a case about a middle-aged man who's been going around skinning young women. All the young women, besides each being underage and female, don't seem to have any connection to each other whatsoever." He spared a glance at the other male. "That's about right, isn't it?"
Stunned, Sunggyu could only manage to utter out a "yeah" in response.
"Kim Sunggyu-sshi, I think the difference between you investigators and us psychologists are that you guys over-complicate things." Dongwoo shook his head before offering a sympathetic smile. "What does this man you seek do?"
Sunggyu shrugged. "That's a simple enough question with a simple enough answer: he kills women."
"No, that is incidental - it's only come about as a result of the first and principal thing he desires, that happens to need killing in order to occur."
"And what is this first and principal thing he desires?"
Dongwoo let out a whisper that Sunggyu couldn't hear.
"Pardon?"
"... Come a little closer, Kim Sunggyu-sshi."
Alarms were blaring inside the criminal investigator's head not to, but Sunggyu stood up and positioned himself right in front of Dongwoo (who had been standing close to the bars all along). Sunggyu swallowed before repeating, "Pardon?"
"Ask me your question again."
"What is the first and principal thing that this killer desires?" The older repeated slowly, almost-cautiously.
"Desire isn't the right word; covet would be a more appropriate word choice." Dongwoo mused as he clenched and unclenched a fist. "He covets; it's built into his nature." The younger reached through the bars and stroked Sunggyu's cheek softly (causing the older male to shiver) before retracting his hand. "Answer me, Kim Sunggyu-sshi... How do humans begin to covet?"
"I-I..." Sunggyu's breath caught in his throat as Dongwoo reached out and pulled his face closer to his, mouth hovering just above his ear.
"We begin by coveting what we see every day." The psychologist hissed into the older male's ear, causing Sunggyu's mind to spin. "Don't you ever feel eyes..." The psychologist turned Sunggyu's face so that they were looking at each other eye-to-eye. "... moving over your body?" The psychologist's eyes seemed to flicker for a moment before his lips managed to hover above Sunggyu's (and at this point, Sunggyu's mind was gone). "And don't your eyes seek out the things you want?"
"I-I'm sorry, but this is-"
Sunggyu was cut off when the psychologist finally crashed his mouth into the older male's. With a gasp from the older, the younger was able to maneuver his tongue into Sunggyu's mouth. The criminal investigator fought back a moan before finally losing himself into the kiss. After several minutes (that may have felt like several hours for those involved), the two parted for air.
"Kim Sunggyu-sshi..." Sunggyu shivered at the mention of his name. "I'm afraid I'm coveting something, nay, someone right now."
Sunggyu turned away. "This - I - No - It's - I can't - "
The psychologist smirked as he licked a line from the nape of Sunggyu's neck up to Sunggyu's mouth. "And I'm afraid that I'll have to break that promise we made earlier."
Quicker than anyone could have foreseen, teeth ripped at the older's lips before tearing off his facial features one by one.
Within minutes, Sunggyu's face was bloodied and unrecognizable.
---
"I'm not as foolish as the man who came before me."
Those were the first words that escaped Lee Sungyeol's mouth as he glared daggers at the glass in front of him, for behind the glass lay one of the most dangerous criminals in all of South Korea (and maybe all of Asia).
The tall boy was met with an eerie silence in response, but that was to be expected. After a previous incident, the man behind the glass had been strapped down to a stand-up bed and his mouth had been covered with a muzzle.
"What's the matter, cat got your tongue?" Sungyeol laughed wryly before tapping on the glass and childishly sticking out his tongue. The man within the cell simply crinkled his eyes before turning his head to the side.
"I just didn't want to respond to someone who didn't even have the proper manners to greet me. That's a little rude, don't you think?"
(And Sungyeol didn't want to admit it, but he found the other's eyes, shaped like crescent moons when they were curved upwards from a smile that even a muzzle couldn't hide, strangely attractive.)
