i just finished "wasted" by... marya somebody, which is an autobiographical account of anorexia/bulemia and i'm in the middle of "plutonium files" by some other lady, which is about "secret" medical testing done during world war II... but those are such specific books, not a general author to suggest... oh, and i have, awaiting my prying eyes, alex crowley's "the plague," another book called "a girl, in parts" and lastly one called "the box children" but i haven't delved into them yet so i can't say if they're worth recommending. :)
oh! and kevins' reading "house of leaves" which i hear is quite a ride, and a lot of people have said it's quite good.. and.. hm... i wanna go see a movie. ;)
I don't watch much movies or tv. When I read it's generally art or music articles. I use to read on average or one or two books a week, but now I commute everyday focusing on a page is so difficult. It's a depressing state of affairs, but I have three free weeks ahead of me in which I plan to glut myself on literature.
