"What are you doing?" Yami no Bakura asked, chin resting in one propped hand as he sat at the far side of the table, upon which the Memory RPG was being constructed. All evening, his attention had been directed at the diorama slowly being pieced together, but now it had been captured by the sight of his landlord, sitting quietly in a chair against the wall, holding something.
Ryou looked up with an inquisitve noise, as though he had expected to be ignored all night, which wasn't far from the truth.
Yami no Bakura didn't like repeating himself, especially not to his host. Nevertheless, the boy had been exceedingly compliant tonight, and that was deserving of a little patience. "I said, what are you doing, yadonushi-sama?"
"Just looking at this photograph," the pale young man answered, bowing his head.
Yami no Bakura rose from his chair, approaching his vessel, taking the thin piece of paper from the boy. It was a picture taken as school, showing Yuugi and his friends, sitting under a tree and laughing over something. Ryou was nowhere in the shot. "Hm. Spying on your friends, yadonushi-sama?"
"Paper and ink memory," Ryou answered simply. "I'm allowed to have those."
"So I've said," the spirit agreed, passing the photo back to his host dismissively. A slim eyebrow quirked in private amusement. "Are you sure you don't want to help me build?"
Ryou shook his head mutely.
"Just as well," Yami no Bakura shrugged, and returned to his task.
