Should I be offended?

Now, I take great care to follow the proper obsessive compulsive behavior when I eat a fortune cookie.  I break the cookie in half, fold the fortune into my left hand until after I have consumed the entire cookie.  I do this to ensure a good fortune.  Superstitious?  Maybe...but I am often very satisfied with my fortune.  So tell me, what do I do

I found a new one for you on the highway yesterday (while doing adopt-a-highway). It said "Goals are dreams with deadlines"

I kept it, but now I can't find it.

My favorite fortune ever, that I will never be able to interpret properly said this: "A girlfriend is a bottle of wine; a wife is a wine bottle."

Huh?

I've got a couple of running interpretations right now...

1. A girlfriend is full and promises pleasure, while a wife is an empty shell.

2. A girlfriend is something you enjoy once before she is gone forever, while a wife lasts forever.

3. If you feed your girlfriend enough wine, she might be drunk enough to marry you.

Any thoughts?

That's hilarious. I've never heard of such a blatantly insulting fortune cookie! Fate owes you some compliments, T. If I were you, I'd go back to this place & demand they keep giving you fortune cookies until you get a flattering one. :o)
