Still working at Jo-Ann and as you can see spending my paltry paycheck on yarn. It seems there are a lot of babies on the way and I've become a bit obsessed with knitting tiny little things to put on them. I'm also immensely enjoying sock knitting. Second Sock Syndrome doesn't seem to be an issue for me and I get a serious kick out of the weird looks I get knitting in public with 5 pointy sticks poking out of my knitting. Hey, I still haven't started my "Stalker" sweater; that's a good thing.
In other news, well, there isn't much other news. My sister is having back surgery on Tuesday, so if anyone is inclined to send healing energies into the cosmos for her, it would be nice. My mom has embarked on an adventure in selling. Avon. With my father's retirement looming, it gets her out of the house to do what she loves, which is to make friends with total strangers and hopefully bring in a little extra something. She's taken a running start with it; handing out brochures to everyone she comes across. I'm officially her Tech Support as a lot of the business is now online and she's still afraid she's going to break the interwebs just by logging on.
I guess that's about it in my world. You're not really missing much by me not posting.
I think I'll probably update my knitting list as I finish things and find new stuff to queue. I really need to find my card reader and get new batteries for my camera so I can bore you all with pictures of my knitting. ;)
