Last night, I realized something that really surprised me. I am a city boy. I was biking home from Alston. It was probably about 1 a.m. and it was still hot enough for me to be comfortable in a t-shirt. There were hardly any cars on the road. one of my only regrets about all of the crazyness and pranking and not sleeping that last week of school was that i missed signing a bunch of people's years books that I really wanted to sign, yours included. although i must say that i don't think you ever signed mine either. tisk tisk. i'm sure i'll see you around, so perhaps at somepoint we still can.

the city is definitly icky, but it has so much energy. i wish i was around to hang out for more than a week, since it went by so fast. the good news is that i dont have to worry about you rushing off to college orientations or any crap like that at the end of the summer. are you going to be around after august 17? if you are, hopefully i'll see you sometime before i have to head up to vermont.
