Tennessee, Tentatively

So. It appears that I'll be in Oak Ridge, Tennessee (near Knoxville) on business from Oct. 26-29. I could take the following weekend and explore the area. But ... what, if anything, is there to do in Knoxville? Any suggestions

Well, you won't be all that far from Dollywood... ;-)

Not sure what else. Don't know East Tennessee that well. You could go see my uncles in Nashville and Hendersonville. Or down to Lynchburg, but those are all pretty long drives from Knoxville. Hmm. Have fun, anyway!

heh. Actually, think I'm going to do a day bummming around Knoxville and a day at Smokey Mountain National Park.

I have very good family friends in the Knoxville area, but that don't help you none.
