Retrospective, and happy birthday to me!

Yup, it's that time of the year again.  As of 5 minutes ago, I'm 28.

It's been quite a year, and in particular, quite a month or so -- so much so that I almost forgot about the birthday.  The good news is that this year, I definitely feel like I've moved my life in the right direction.  In no particular order, I:

• Moved to LA
• Made lots of new

Heh. Very good. I learned how to say happy birthday in Russian and promptly forgot it, except that it means "on the day of birth" without a happy attached.
