Meanwhile, a few new items behind the cut : .
Made of fabric I had lying around

I discovered that making a bra out of foam padding is really easy. I made the cuppart by stitching the 2 parts together with a zigzagstitch. They were place against eachother, not like a regular seam. Then I covered the seam with tape, and bound the top edge with elastic bias tape. For the bottom I used regular bias tape. After that, It's sewing on the middle and side parts and the bone casing. Add straps and hooks and voila :)
My next project will be a big one, my weddingdress. Well, not really a dress. It's gonna be a corset top and a skirt with a petticoat underneath. I want it to be dark red, and I want to add matching lace to it. The problem is gonna be the fabric. I don't want satin or taffeta. I've seen rough silk in dark red I liked. But how am I gonna find matching lace with a lovely pattern..?
The date...We liked the numbers of 15/05/2010..
But the location we like to give the party no longer has this date free, so maybe 29/05..
