I know most of you reading this are WoW players, but I also know there's at least a couple of FFXI types who read this. I still haven't tried FFXI. Should I?

Well, FFXI ain't like the others, in that it's an MMORPG. ;3

*Prods.* I meant all the other MMORPGs. I've played all the SNES Final Fantasy games, though.

Oh, right, right. Well... depends.

Personally, I love the 360 port, and I expect the PS2 version is decent too, but I thought the PC port was lacking due to frankly AWFUL controls (unless you use a gamepad). They all run on the same server, but the PC's keyboard controls are utterly horrendous. So don't even consider it unless you can either play it on a console, or have a PC gamepad.

But with that in mind, it's pretty entertaining, albeit quite brutal and unforgiving in an EverQuest 1 kind of way. :3

Yeah, I did. I got dragged back quite recently, albeit to a different server. A few of us are dicking about on Seraph now.
