Considering Hetalia couldn't even manage to get the number of states in the US during WWII right, I REALLY wouldn't be using it as a historical reference. -_-; (There were forty-eight states, BTW--Alaska and Hawa'ii didn't become states until 1959, more than a decade after the end of WWII.) And maybe you didn't do as badly as you thought? I'm sure they won't punt you over one wrong question.
