first manga of 2011. and i do not regret it. saw it popping up in a couple of mangablogs but its unassuming cover and slice-of-life genre kept me passing it over because, honestly, i thought it would be boring. the reality of it is, it is very boring. in fact, it is laugh out loud hilarious at moments.

do not judge people. despite its wishy washy name, it is surprisingly.. really good. if anyone ever considers picking this up, do not stop at the thirteenth episode. THE ENDING IS A LIE. unless, you know, you want a normal happy one. nothing wrong with stopping there. the show still wraps up pretty neatly. If you want the GLORIOUS ending though, continue on to the 2nd season.

omgomg jaspard ulliel was adorable here in trying to hit on the clueless guy and he was going on about how they were soulmates and they must have met before in their past lives and the clueless guy was all: Whuh?

ah. if only all failed weddings ended up in one rushing out into an oncoming car, and instead of being pulverized to bloody bits, is instead saved by an oscar winning movie actor who then proceeds to dance with you in the moonlight

loved emma stone's performance here to bits. might have ended up annoying or boring in the hands of another actress but she makes it relate-able here. fun movie to kick back and relax to with a bunch of gal pals
05. Inglourious Basterds
um. despite watching it recently, i don't really remember much of it. except for that one scene where this one guy flashbacked to himself getting whipped. that was kinda hot. err. that's it really.
06. The Secret of Kells
amazing animation. even if the storyline was kinda bland-been-there-done-that, the animation made up for it. also, i had a soft spot for abbot cellach. it was the tallness and the sort-of scar that did it.
