XBOX 360 A New Beginning

Feb 25, 2008 15:15

So I just got another XBOX a year after selling my last one and all the games I had. I currently have C.O.D 4 and Assassins Creed.

What is everyone playing these days?
Is there any game you absolutely love and would force your grandmother to play?

It depends on what kind of games you like. I would highly suggest a Gamefly account. The one game at a time plan is under $9 and they have a pretty fast turn around.

If you decide to check it out, would you mind using this link? http://friends.GameFly.com/r/90fdd2423551102b919d If I get 6 people signed up using that link I get 6 months free service :)

I will do that Mr. Bizket. it will be a good way for me to test what games I want to have in my collection.

The cool thing about Gamefly is that if you decide to keep a game, it tends to be cheaper than buying it used at a local game store.

Also, when you hit 3 months (and every 3 months after that) you get a $5 'coupon' for one game to keep that has to be used in that 3 month period. When you hit 6 months you get an auto 5% off any game purchased from them, and after a year it turns into 10% off.

I have a Wii, a 360, and a PS2 so I get a lot of use from my account. I do two games at a time which is $22.95 a month. I just saw that the under $9 is for your first month then it goes to $16. Just so you know.

What's been posted here so far (seconding Rock Band and Bioshock, fucking skip Guitar Hero) and Devil May Cry 4, Viva Pinata, Crackdown, and Burnout: Paradise (warning: it's a racing game, but has a lot of focus on crashing the shit out of your car, other cars, and the open world the game takes place in).

Check out www.goozex.com you can trade games once you're done with them for other games available in their database (there's a fuckload), and unlike Gamestop or EB Games the trade value of your game is actually fairly high. The system is a little hard to understand at first, but once you get the hang of it you'll never buy a used game from Gamestop again.
