Run-by-pruning. Hahahaa. Also sometimes referred to as a "prune-and-run".
bk is around. I think she's just overworked and overstressed.
On the nephew, speaking not from personal experience but rather just vague theories on how I will one day handle by own nieces and nephews -- I am big believer in pre-emption. Looks like he's about to have a random hissy fit? You have one first. Or if he's ranting and raving about some issue, agree with him 100 %. If he talks about how much he hates his siblings, suggest that he sell them on e-bay. Even if this doesn't accomplish anything, it will be considerably more enjoyable for you.
That actually sounds like a good idea. But I wouldn't wait for him to start anything. I should just be constantly stomping around angry and maybe he'll be too scaared to try and get on my nerves.
I have advice on how to handle pissed off twelve-year old's---also my little brother. I love him to death, but GOD does her get on nerve sometimes. His behavior very well mimics that of your nephew along with the sudden urge to kick and punch anything that is within a 5 meter radius.
The only thing I can suggest is to bribe him (which is really bad advice, but you never really specified if you wanted good or bad advice :P). Honestly, that is the only thing that will work- it will hold him off for a little while so you can enjoy your peace and quiet.
After you bribe him with the chocolate or whatever then bring out the board games. That should calm him down.
I had to read the first line twice...lorettSeptember 2 2006, 08:46:38 UTC
both times grinning and chuckling.
First I was like - HEY! YIPPEE it's Gravidy-baby! I've not heard a peep from you in a while, how ya doing sweets? All going well, random acts of neighborhood improvement aside? BTW - HOW DARE he, the evil bastard! If your obsessive run-by gardner should decide to take his jogging/pruning act to Sunny CA...please send him my way! I have SEVERAL trees and shrubs that are in need of his service. I can even drag my husband outside to watch him and say - See, Honey that is what we call 'YARD WORK.' I know, it's a hard concept to fully grasp, but observe and learn...(lol

"have to confess that I have no idea what Bleach is"
Aw, I don't even know why I mentioned it. I think it was a shot in the dark hoping someone would know what I was talking about. I need more nerd friends. :P Bleach is an anime cartoon. The English version is now on Cartoon Network on Sat nights but I don't watch that. I try not to watch Eng dubs after what they did to Naruto. ::shudders::
Spongebob totally grew on me. One of my older brothers and a different nephew of mine can do spongebob's laugh and when they're together they like to run around the house annoying the HELL out of the rest of us.
Hey Darling. What's up? I've already translated GOTL until chapter 15 and now I'm wondering if you'll ever continue or not? It makes me feel nervous to think about a stop of GOTL. I don't know your reasons for not updating, but a lot of people out there are asking thereselves if you will continue or not. Perhaps you can leave a message at fanfiction.net about your writing status.. at least that would be sooo great!

"Anyone have advice on handling pissed off twelve-year-olds?"
You beat him. Or you buy him a BB gun and tell him to shoot birds instead of beating up on his sibs.
I'll talk to you soon, hopefully!

Ne, what's up with your FF.net account? Are you renovating or did you finally tell them to go screw themselves and post elsewhere?
