Sleep and free time

I work 8 hours of the day. Assuming I also get 8 hours of sleep, that leaves only 8 for myself and others. Why does it seem like 4 hours?

because yourself should take up all of your time?
that's okay. i have a first period now, which means i have to make it to school by 7 and be alive TOO, so my best friend and i decided that since i have been unable to get up in time for school ALL WEEK, i am going on the spanish schedule: go to school, get home, go to sleep until 2 am or so. get up, stay up until school, go to school, repeat. i'll become nocturnal and eat bugs sometimes and do crazy stuff like steal one sock from a pair.

That sounds awesome. I was thinking that maybe I should take "naps" during my lunch break instead of going out to eat with coworkers.

Drive time my friend...Then there is the time that is flushed, irretrievable for things that waste time but you wish you did not have to do...brushing teeth, going to the bathroom, showering, grocery shopping etc.,etc.,etc. Working 12 hours a day with a 3 hour time is alot of fun right now...I have to soooo multi-task it is not even funny! Go take a bubble bath and enjoy a slow half hour to yourself with a book! It always works for me..

damn, yeah, a book. Haven't finished one in over a year but I'm reading 4 right now:

1)Neuromancer
2)Lullaby
3)Ringworld
4)Give Me a Break

I would try to spell the author's names, only I'd butcher them all to hell. Needless to say, they are all favorites of mine.

Neuromancer? The one by William Gibson? And are you talking of the Give Me A Break by John Stossel? If you are that's my boy there! I absolutely love his investigative reporting..Looking at Lullaby I might have to find that one...Going to the library today and will look for that looks major interesting!
HEY! And what the heck? You have not completed a book in a year but are reading 4 right now...The book gods are frowning down on you this day..But they might give you a reprieve for turning me on to an interesting book! Love ya anyway! :)

yes and yes. Lullaby is by Chuck Palahuniuk (one of my favorite authors as listed in my interests I think). I hope to get the John Stossel book done, then read lullaby and then do something else.
