Food for thought: The constitution specifically states there shall be no income tax, yet we pay one. The reason why is convoluted and not an amendment to the constitution.
Why isn't it an amendment?
Better yet, what am I getting for $7,000 a year other than roads?
This doesn't even account for sales tax, which is a tax even those without a job have to pay.
