Well, I figured I probably made my father angry enough for one year by taking the internship so I guess I'll be going home after all. I've sent the gifts to the house already so they probably won't be expecting to see me.
It'll be a nice surprise for Nessa at least.

You would think he'd be happy that his eldest daughter wants to make something of herself wouldn't you?
I think he was mostly upset about having to make alternative arrangements to have someone else help care for my sister.
