Yeah... so... here in the restaurant industry... we have a term... This is a term that I made up and only people who work for me are aware of.. but it's still considered an industry-wide term. We call it "The Day." This term refers to a mythical day in which nobody actually comes in and you are not only dead, but empty house for the entire shift

amazing. sometimes in teaching, you have The Day. except it's more like this:

"shit, i am hung the fuck over. i can't believe i have to work today. OH WAIT I AM IN CHARGE--CLASS CANCELLED SUCKERS."
