Such a different, to come back from the peak experience.. Maslow. The collapse of Utopia. Icarus falling to the sea. Why is it that no one talks about how painful it is to fall from grace? The hurt of returning from near-perfection to.. this.

You know, I'm quite sure that the pain of falling from grace has been quite broadly explored by the entirety of Abrahamic religion, for... oh, you know, a few thousand years.

Maybe people don't talk about it so much anymore because it's boring and everyone has already figured it out by now.
