I wonder if I could get away with claiming it was accidental. Do something terrible, run from the responsibility. How forgiving is the Barge?

Right.
[And it actually takes longer than IMMEDIATELY because Tim has been dozing off here and there, but he shows up at Sylar's door with his belt hidden beneath his shirt.

"I'm having trouble." [He states flatly, moving away from the door and trusting Tim to let himself in. The killer stares down at his hands, though nothing happens.] "It's not that I've lost control. I.. forget. I lapse into a painting trance or get distracted. Suddenly I'm electrocuting myself, burning my room. Painting anywhere, everywhere."

If something happened and you said it was accidental, I would believe you, and if anyone suggested killing you as a means of stopping you, I would do whatever I could to stop them.
[...aaaand now she's letting her current mood out, because she is starting to feel like Sveta's attitude is not totally out of line :|]
Sveta isn't going to be able to escape all the fallout from this either, you know. Even if we can manage to get through this without someone killing her... the Barge isn't forgiving. For a place supposedly focused on the idea of redemption and second chances, we really do suck at letting go of grudges.

You murder someone, what can they do? Put you in a dungeon for a week? Take your filters?
