Yes, you. Who needs MMS? That's just a way for the carrier to charge you for what is effectively an email. If I want to, I can send an email with photo attached to you that you can receive as MMS. And you can send me an MMS to my email address. But you'll be the one paying for it (whether by units or in bulk as a monthly fee), not me.
As for actual keys... that's probably a matter of preference. I'll take the added flexibility of virtual keys over the fixed nature and breakability of regular keys any day.
And if you want to carry two devices instead of one to get your mp3's well, more power to you. I can't really wear cargo pants to work to hide all that extra baggage.
i use mms to exchange photos and sounds with other peoples phones. yes they could be sent to and from an email address sync'd to my berry but i would have to extract the actual email address and all that jazz.
PLUS i would hate to have all that crap duplicated in my email inbox. Already its tedious to go through and have to delete 30-40 emails from my gmail inbox. You know how gmail consolidates "conversations" to the same "thread"? When sending from a blackberry, they show up as a seperate email in the inbox. So i'd have to delete all those AND the 15 or so MMS' a day. Thats a pain in the ass.
as far as charges... MMS and internet are both included in the flat rate blackberry package.
AND DONT FORGET there are people (non iphone, non blackberry) who have a messaging plan and no internet plan but that doesn't effect me per se.
