I have only written a little over 25,000 words. I have six days left. Less than a week. It is possible, but my motivation is gone and I don't feel like writing the crap I think up

Yeah, I totally...failed. I haven't written in days. Somewhere after those 5,000 words, my commitment just died. I still want to finish it, and I still intend to finish it...but there's no way I'd be able to finish it this month.
You didn't fail at all! I think it's great you wrote 5000+! The whole point was to get people to start writing. I really like your story and I want to read the rest so I hope you do finish it at some point. I liked the characters, how you started the whole thing, the tone, etv, etc. So, I don't think you failed at all. :)
Woo Hoo! Thanks for cheering! You've actually helped me quite a bit with that this month. :)
I don't think it was too much pressure, though. At least not for me. I didn't plan at all. That's not a bad thing, though. It became interesting not knowing where I was going. The other thing is I get into moods. I was so excited about it at the end of October, then after a couple of weeks I didn't want to write that feverishly anymore. I started to write when I thought of something good, instead of just writing whatever. I need to get back to that, but I'd have to write 4700 words from now until the 30th. That's not happening. I know I won't win, but it was fun and it did get me writing. I'm going to keep on writing until I'm finished and then I'll go back to edit, which I'm excited about. I'm so glad I participated! I wouldn't have had the story I have. :)
