After watching and reading Ookiku Furikabutte, I have just one thing to say.
SOCUTE
I originally didn’t think that Oofuri would be to my tastes. It’s calm and understated with characters that are realistically written; very much a ‘slice of life’ type story. It’s not the dramatically entertaining, over done shonen manga I typically favor. Nether the less, I am charmed, mostly by the genuinely touching moments between the characters. I also think that I am inclined to like Oofuri also for the fact that it’s been a shitty couple of weeks, tenipuri just ended in a disappointing way argggg konami, and Oofuri is sweet and hopeful but realistic. Just the type of pick me up I need ;).
I also couldn’t call myself a BL fangirl if I didn’t slash Abe and Mihashi. Which I do. Quite a lot (see evidence below). And by slash I mean I hope they'll be Friends Forever and Abe will help Mihashi grow a spine and they'll go to Koshien together and hold hands and be generally adorable <3.
