Gaming is upon us!!!

I'm cleaning the house today and making sure all my ducks are in order. Tonight I will be making myself sit down to write. Feels good to have the motivation of people coming to game to make me sit my ass down and do something. I'm running a quick mid level (6th to 8th) adventure based off of the AD&D 3.0/3.5 system in my own setting. The adventure is called "Violent Night, Desperate Night" and if it tests well I'm going to send it off to WOTC to see what they think. It's based off of something I started back in the late 80's called "The Legends Of Caer-Lemorn". I'm thinking about dusting the whole thing off and trying to do a self-published game setting. Heaven knows I need some sort of paying writing gig. Guess we will see how things go tomorrow. Per normal I have had a number of replies from people saying they or their friend would like to come and play but so far I think I have 4... maybe 5 players confirmed. I'm going to put up some flyers and such at the local game shop and book seller to see if I can pull in a few more players over the next week or so. I would really like to have a solid 6 to 8 players every weekend.

Seems I'm going to have about the same turn out Sunday for the WoD game I'm running. It really has me thinking about the gaming community here in middle TN and how broken up it is. I've had some plans for some time about just how to bring the community together, kind of like a catch all resource of some kind. Now that we are on more solid ground and in a much more comfortable live space (it's over twice the size of the last place), I think it is time to not only start banging away at the writing but to start working on some community issues as well.

I'm really doing much better these days. More awake, creative, active, and happy then I have been in awhile. Now it is time to take charge and make some stuff happen!
