my mother has a new family. at first i generally liked them, but my like has turned to hate and i am often green with envy as i am not a part of their family circle and never will be because i simply don't fit in. his daughter is a straight-A student and he works for the government. they use big, intelligent words and ask me the capitals of all

I get lost naming all 50 states, but I'm pretty sure we have that many. There are interesting people out there who believe that there are rules to how you should learn, and common standards by which your ignorance/education can be judged. They tend to stress fact over theory and abstractions vs. experience (as contradictory as that last sentence was). Also, they drink grape juice

this is the longest comment i've ever received. thanks! yes, we do have lively conversations but they usually turn into arguments. luckily, i have my own place and don't live with them - i only go to their house to visit my mother.
