Nope, not before August, probably on August 14th (a Sunday)...

Anybody is welcome to visit, if they can dig out the oodles of money to do so. o.o;

Whoo-haha! Cool! Maybe I can meet you for lunch one day in the middle of the semester so you can complain to me how your classes are. ^_~ It would be cool to get back on the campus again... What are you majoring in, anyway ( ... )

Yeah, I'd love to hang out at least a couple times during the fall/spring. ^_^ As for my major, it's Japanese... I've been at it for 7 years, no sense in stopping now!

I'm glad I got in before they raised tuition, yikes o.o

I found out I'm getting $4k more than I thought, since I'm an upperclassman... that still leaves $4k to get, though. Thanks for the tips on helping with that! Sadly the Scholarship website for U of H is down currently *sob*

uh ansel you can file for your fafsa as an independant student since you're so OLD and dont fill in your parents info... then only YOUR earnings count

you can also probably file an appeal claiming that during the actual school year you wont be getting nearly as much $$ wise..but thats what you get for taking so long i suppose

You obviously don't think very highly of me if you think I didn't already know that. :/

My FAFSA was filed as independent. No parent info. It was filed that way last year, as well.

Independent, I will still only get $15k for the year. I'll have to take out an extra loan from Sallie Mae, or shove all the debt onto my credit card... :/ Which is ALMOST cleared off, too.

You know, Arizona universities (ASU, UA, NAU) just a few years ago had the lowest instate tuition in the nation, and out of state was pretty good, too.
Now it's somewhere in the lower/middle third area.

...Not that this helps you at all.

As for funds...Um, when I was in school I heard of people selling plasma to pay rent?

Just got a letter from ASU Liberal Arts begging me to join them, as well o.o;

I'd probably have to sell every last drop of plasma in my blood five times over to get $4k *sob*

you could get a bank loan, borrow from someone (or a whole lot of someones o.O) or there are a lot of grants that don't requre being paid back, that's how i'm still a student, i get federal and texas pell grants. but thost two only give me about 2k each...
