I say you should use your LJ more while you're in Japan to share photos and stories of life in the boonies with the rest of us.
Also, you should friend my delightful friend Kayt, parasitegirl. She's living in Japan (somewhere's near Tokyo) and has been for the last bunch of years, teaching English in the Japanese elementary school system. (She's currently working as a curriculum coordinator of some sort for the Board of Education...) Her stories of the Japanese educational system are HILARIOUS stuff. You may also remember her from A-Kons in the far distant past (late 90's) when she used to cosplay. (She did the Kurama Princess the year I did Lum, also famous for her Daicon bunny girl and her Pen-Pen.)
