I finally scrounged up enough money from underneath my sofa to buy my outrageously and grossly overpriced prom tickets.

Other schools sell their tickets for $70. My high school sells for $100.

Included in the price is:

• Frozen TV dinner. Not pre-heated.
  
• Dessert. Whatever you can catch that scuttles in the grass outside.
  
• Music DJ. 14-year old

Naturally I embellished a bit about what goes on at prom, but I do think it is outrageously overpriced.
