Banquet was incredible last night. I pulled off some crazy awards, including the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award, which means my name goes up on the plaque in the band room along with everyone else who has won it over the years. I also received favourite senior (Duh. I'm awesome) and best marcher and favourite section for the saxophones (The superlative ( Read more... )

Brave words with absolutely no merit behind them.

And you're right, it is pretty awesome, but to say I didn't do anything is a grossly large understatement considering I worked extremely hard for this band and was just as dedicated, loyal, and involved as anyone could possibly be.

Or then again, maybe I am that kid that just kinda sits there, does nothing, but shows up for the cake and for one instance got really lucky.

PS: I almost forgot. If I'm wrong, and people really were getting awards that they didn't deserve, then Collin probably would have got drum major.

Think about it.

I didn't meet too many people unhappy about it. Hey, you mentioned it yourself. Last year. And it's been a whole 'nother year since then.

Come on, let's be honest with each other. Wouldn't this discussion be a lot more fun if it weren't behind closed doors under the guise of anonymous posting? I'm willing to take this up for as long as you want because it's becoming increasingly easier, but these weak and anemic arguments from you aren't nearly as profound if you're going to hide behind anonymity. :-D

When do you guys graduate at your school, Randi? We only have eight days left, then we graduate the 26th.

u suck......we graduate the 26th but we've got more than 8 days left i think.....senior year here if u have a grade above 78 in a class u can exempt 1 exam, if u have a grade above 78 and 83, u can exempt 2 exams and if your grades are both of those plus one above 93 u can exempt 3....but u have to have only had 5 or less days missed of school (even if they are excused) to do that and i missed like 8-12 in each class, so i have to take all those...so i'll be in school till the 25th.....u asked such a simple question but yet it took me all this writing to answer it...that is sad lol
