Ironically, when I filled this out for th eperson I ganked it from, I recommended she read Ender's Game, so she could then read Speaker For The Dead. *lol*

I know I need to post more. It's been a really interesting couple of years and will be a few reeeeeally long posts to sum up.

And of course everyone falls for you. You're awesome. :P Pretty, too, but I already knew that.

Ah, someone else you enjoys Card despite him being a creepy Mormon! Well then how about some Gaiman, Pratchett or Pullman instead as a recommendation?

If you do the whole post in one go, please LJ cut! ;)

Also, let me be immodest for a moment. I'm ALWAYS modest so I think I deserve to state the truth this once.

I don't care if you leave the seat up, look at porn, hang out with your friends, dress sloppy or play video games. When online (offline my Tourette's and ADD really show) I am witty. I am polite, insanely low key and only crazy in non-girl ways. I love geeky things like reading and video games. I probably talk more about boobs than most people. As long as they can type in complete sentences and capture my attention, I'll be myself and everyone seems to really like who that is.

Of course that's sometimes a curse. I've had two people who thought I was in love with them when I was just treating them like I would treat anybody. Those are long stories there that result in pretty much wishing online restraining orders existed...

Pullman is the only one of those I don't know. *lol*

As for the rest, my personal life is complicted enough without hitting on you, no matter how awesome you are. Unless you want me to. But even then... New Jersey, you know?

*ducks and covers*

Christ on a crutch -- everything that's been going on for you and you took the time to respond to this. *hug* Hopefully I can be a good distraction.

Like I said above, I'll try to post more. It's been an interesting couple of years for me, too. Let me know how things go, huh?

Thanks - couldn't sleep as usual, so it wasn't a big deal.

"Don't you see yon bonnie, bonnie road,
Lying across the ferny brae?
That is the road to fair Elfland,
Where you and I this night must go."

The man has good taste. Plus, now that I am not longer busy dying, I can actually start thinking abou tgetting out there to visit again for the first time in over a decade. *sigh*

I found your Myspace account. What's the advantage to being there than here on LJ?

Different circle of friends with overlaps. Might see someone there you don't see here, etc. Easier to see images from my life. I don't like all the tedious coding to add images and cuts and all that. I can, but I'd rather just clicky and have a folder of 30 images from my vacation to Greece (I wish).

As I said earlier, I wish there was one unified überblog. I know people on TypePad, or Facebook, or BlogSpot, or LJ, or MySpace, or you get the idea... who don't want anything to do with the others. Same reason I finally added Yahoo! Messenger and MSN Messenger -- I have friends who refuse to use AIM and don't want/have Trillian or one of those unified IM programs (I admit I'm still comparison-shopping).

*heh* How's that for overanswer. :)
