This place really is just incredibly strange. The weapons shop didn't accept my gp and when I asked about alternate methods they just directed me to the job listings instead of offering a quest or something ( Read more... )

I think standard practice counts for little here. It took me a while to get used to buildings, ah, not designed for wingspan.

Tell me. Does your world include any or all of the following: character stat sheets, character classes, NPCs, PCs, weapons with numeric modifiers, fetch quests, quest items, Bags of Holding, superglue, and most importantly, Red Mages.

The kind that likes to keep its employees alive. I know it might be a foreign concept to you, Mr. Bodiless, but it's pretty bad for business.

Maybe you should go for an animal tamer position. If you can handle your parasite there, lions and tigers and bears should be no problem.
