Colors! Did you adjust these after they were taken? This is the first time I've been able to look at photographs and say, "Hmm, these were probably worked on." They just look so balanced. I think my eye is getting better--or, I may be getting a large enough volume of my own pics to realize that color balance like that just doesn't happen reliably and randomly.

I'm really fond of pic #3. A portrait classic.

Hmm. I guess I should also give you the VERY short version. With the correct camera, and the correct tool (Photoshop), and proper operator function color balance like that IS pretty reliable. But, you are correct - it is NOT random! :)
