looks more like an Andy Warhol homage. Lichtenstein had graphic dots.

The dots are very visible on the full size photo - 3072 pixels on the long side. Bringing that down to 560 or so pixels lost a lot of the dottyness. I think I may have to do the dot layer over with larger dots to get a more Lichtenstein feel - but I'm actually thinking of trying to combine this with a line art version and seeing what I come up with. So, inspired by Lichenstein was the start.

Interesting. The DA piece elicits a completely different feel from me than the original photo. Look forward to seeing the final product.
