Too normal?

Is there such a thing as being too normal? So the guy I've been going on study dates with is like super normal. Played football, has two dogs, no kooky family members, and drives a big noisy Dodge truck. He loves god, country music and sports. And I and completely not attracted to him. He thinks I'm pretty and hilarious. (also loves my shoes/feet

Hahaha, yeah, the shoe thing should be a turn on....except I hate feet. Lol. I bet there's something else just as weird about him....hopefully.

I dunno...I married the most normal guy I'd ever met. He's nice, a hard worker, a "guy's guy", family-oriented, can drive a truck and trailer and tractor and all that. When we first met, I kind of had the reaction you're describing. But then I realized that all that "normalcy" is actually hard to find these days. Genuinely good guys are quite the rare commodity...so I scooped mine up!

And I have to admit, he keeps me very grounded, and life with him is great. It's nice to have that kind of dependability, and it's not at all boring (which is something I had worried about).

It's funny, I talked to my mom about it and she said the same thing....well, practically. She said she married my dad because he was responsible and willing to take care of her, and the whole love thing. And yes, "normal" people are very hard to find.
