History: The Strands are an illustrious, gym-owning family dating back several generations of awesome Pokemon! Ah, you recognise my name? Yes, kneel down and lick my boots! I have already won this battle!
Well, that's how Beatrix would like to introduce herself and her family. In truth, the Strand family has been wanting a gym for three generations, dating back to some insult suffered by the first Strand pokemon trainer to reach any public success! Unfortunately, the insult itself changes from generation to generation, but the point is it was unforgivable and that bastard totally mocked/stole/killed and ate that beloved pokemon of ours, and the only recourse is to become a gym leader and prove without a doubt the strength of the Strand family ( ... )

It's been like that for a few generations, and while there have been a few people here and there that haven't become a pokemon breeder, nearly everyone does. Because of this, Mira's been raised around pokemon, and she's been taught all the important things that come with being a pokemon breeder. So you know that one person in Pokemon that's always spouting stuff about the bond between humans and pokemon and how love is a huge part of that? That's Mira.
Mira is a bundle of energy-- once she gets going, she will steamroll her way through anything and everything that she possibly can until someone (or something) manages to get her to stop. Or she runs out of energy. Whichever happens first. She's also quite friendly, and she's the type of person to declare herself a friend of whoever she's talking to even if it's only been five minutes. As long as a person doesn't do something to make her actively dislike them, she's content to think of nearly everyone as a friend ( ... )

History: Fuyo has had a shitty life. She was born on an island somewhere between Cinnibar and Sevii. The daughter of a Pokemon professor researching the apparently-unlimited energy stored in Pokemon's bodies, Fuyo was never really a big fan of sciency stuff, and instead spent her time around the Pokemon, taking care of them. This was all well and good until she was around 7, when a bird of fire appeared over the island. The Pokemon in pens began to freak the fuck out, breaking out of their pens in their rampage. The island burned, and Fuyo's parents were killed in the rampage. Fuyo was convinced it was caused by the legendary Moltres, and would not listen to explanations that no, it was probably just a Fearow Mirror Moving something it saw on the island ( ... )

Personality: Rio appears to be the much more easy-going of the pair. He's always seems to a friendly smile and almost carefree attitude. He balances out Cillian's hot-tempered attitude easily, but he's not as happy-go-lucky as he seems. He's cunning and manipulative, to the point of ruthlessness. Like his brother, he is incredibly codependent. Though he hides it better, he would still do anything for Cillian. He enjoys his twin's possessiveness and sometimes purposefully does things (like completely disregarding everyone's personal space) to make his brother flustered or jealous, although he is just as possessive of Cillian as his brother is of him ( ... )
