Just for kicks, I wanted to see if anyone still remembers me here and might still be using LJ. Let me know if you see this post, maybe I might try to use this on occasions if I'm simply yelling into a void.

I'm still here, old friend. And I use it occasionally for long-form essays, and just link them to my Facebook. :)

That's good to hear. I am falling further away from FB by the day, and I might decide to just nuke it from orbit, but doing so will essentially cut me off from most of my friends forever, and giving them an alternate means of contact will likely be mostly ignored, unfortunately.

Yes I hear ya re: FB.

Too much invested but I stil keep my content off platform, blogs, podcasts etc. Do not trust ANY platform that I don't control to keep important things.

Sadly that also means LJ.

I am still around, doing very little during the pandemic besides recovering from a broken arm and torn rotator cuff.
