It is great to hear that you have completed the chemo and it has been a success!

I now count myself as a cancer survivor too. Last August I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I went through 45 treatments of targeted radiation plus hormone-blocker shots. I completed the radiation just after New Year's. It has taken a lot out of me, but I have survived.

NHL is more threatening than prostate cancer, and chemo is more debilitating to the body than targeted radiation. But you have come through it, and hopefully will remain cancer-free.

I am glad to see you here in LJ again. Thanks for updating us, and Welcome Home!!!

GREAT to hear from you. anziulewicz January 26 2022, 14:24:38 UTC
Good luck with the cancer treatment. I wish I could say good luck with the tinnitus, but there is no good luck with that. I know this as someone who is living with a constant 15 mhz tone in his ears.

The pandemic has been horrible for everyone. I remember in early 2020, when everything was shutting down: You couldn't go to a bar, a movie, a restaurant, and many people found themselves working from home. I remember sitting on my front porch, drinking wine, and listening to the horror stories on NPR about what was happening in places like NYC. And I remember thinking to myself, "Is this IT? Is this the big science fiction movie?"

Well a couple of years later we're still here, but life will never again be like it used to be. In the meantime, through, I driving up to DC this weekend for my nephew's BIG GAY WEDDING, so there's that.

I'm here - Never left! It's wonderful to see a post from you! It really is exciting to see some of the folks who have commented. I didn't realize many of them are still here on Live Journal.

I am delighted you made your way through the cancer treatment. My sister has now passed her 7th year cancer free. I am so very sorry about your father-in-law. Please give my condolences to Jeff.

I remain hopeful we will meet in person one day. Evan and so many others speak so highly, may I say lovingly of you.

Big HUGS! ps ... Check out my posts if you have a moment.
