I think for humor, this one actually beats that "Take On Me" video. Impressive.

Agreed. There are tons of literal videos on YouTube, but there are only two and a half good ones.

1) "Take On Me" - Good because it was the original.

2) "Total Eclipse of the Heart" - Good because it says what's literally going on in the form of jokes.

2.5) "I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" - Good because it has some stuff said literally in a funny way, but bad because it's got a lot of just literally saying what's going on. I award half a point.

I watched a bunch of other ones, and they were just total crap. Just pointless, humorless recitations of what was going on. "Now I'm playing the guitar! Now I'm sitting in a chair! You have brown hair!"

Yeah, half-point to the Meatloaf song. I let others wade through the huge nest of these and then point out the best to me. Thanks again, internet.

I hate this song with a passion (almost as bad as 'More than Words' from Extreme) -- but this made me laugh.

I have, and it's fantastic. My favorite is the croon/belt divide :)
