Three days ago I commented to a comment on reddit about cellphones, mentioning how as the world's last cellphone non-haver, and with them as such being unusual objects to me still that I don't at all take for granted, the one thing most annoying about them - outside of people texting while driving - is that in every dramatic movie now when someone ( Read more... )

amusing, but with one brilliant bit: "I am Jack's voicemail."

That is freakin' inspired. I was expecting maybe for another phone in his pocket to ring, but that is waaaay better.

(Unless I'm forgetting and the line was used in the book/film... then it's not inspired.)
