This Google Wave thing seems pretty useless. It knows tons of people I know, but none of them will reply to me or appear to do anything. It makes me sad, as when LinkedIn sends me updates of my friends and includes the forever unchanging employment status of that one old classmate of mine who died a few years ago. Wow, that is ominous. It reminds me of the ripper bot. It apparently quotes him from the night of his terminal overdose, like some kind of mechanical ghost. I've never been able to find that reference again.

I got a Google Wave invitation, but whoever sent it didn't fill in a name, so the email is all like, "has invited you to preview Google Wave!"

Who has?!

It feels like a mistake a spammer or scammer would make (even though it's probably not one), but I don't see any reason to take a chance until somebody proves that Google Wave is worth having anyway.

I was really excited about wave. Then I found out that it was a seperate system from email, and it didn't appear to have much use.
