Whatever happened to the taxonomic breakdown I learned in my grade school science class? We were made to memorize Kingdom, Phyllum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, and Species, as well as the mnemonic in my subject. It, too, gets a wag of my finger. I thought "It's a word processor. They're all about the same." I was wrong. I've used a half dozen word processors on Macs and Windows over the last 16 or so years.
