So, I thought I'd hit the gym and run 2 miles (which, in case you didn't know, would be a record for me. I have exercise-induced asthma). I ride about 10 miles per day, and I'll have to swim a half mile at the upcoming triathlon (which shouldn't be a problem). Running or jogging, however, has always been a sticking point. I'll have to make Robert go easy on me to begin with though...I have no background in this whole "excercise" thing.

Wow... I'm impressed. Although I'm half-tempted to scold you for taking an inordinate risk. Then again, I'm technically not supposed to run, and yet sometimes I succumb to temptation, even though I know my legs will take days to stop screaming at me for it.

There's such a thrill in flouting your limitations; it's like you're invincible, or quite nearly so. I'm quite delighted for you.

I didn't realize that you weren't supposed to run. Then again, I've never been one to stick carefully to doctor's orders either. :)
