I think Ophiel said something about the importance of paying attention to opposites. Doesn't that tie into one of the laws in the visualization book?

It also reminds me of our conversation about the zen garden.

Also, I think that the Taoists belive that while the universe is full of interplays between polar opposites, all these sets of opposites are essentially unified. Furthermore, I think there's a tenet saying that whenever you want to achieve anything, you should start with its opposite; and another stating that in order to retain something, you have to admit something from its opposite.

I also recall reading something from Western mysticism that went something like: In order to achieve enlightenment, you must believe something very strongly, and then set out to believe its opposite just as strongly; only then will you be able to sort of rise above this world... maybe it was Crowley? I'm pretty sure it was written during the 1920s, but I can't remember where I read it.

(They impressed enough by 10k and didn't need to resort to 1 million.) I think that is the only origin of everything that has similarity to physics, reading some variations on physics theories some were similar (involving planck energy? - it has been a decade ( ... )
