[Jack appears on the second level, holding up his hand; there's a wide gash across his palm blood dripping slowly from the open wound. He seems utterly happy about this] It hasn't healed; five whole minutes and the hand hasn't healed.

Guess who's no longer immortal?

[Ianto doesn't look nearly so happy about this, dropping from level as soon as he sees him and returning a few minutes later with a first aid kit and towels. He doesn't say anything, just grabs Jack's hand and applies what is most likely too much disinfectant. He may or may not have done this on purpose.]

[Jack winces a bit, but the smile on his face remains] Just because I'm not immortal anymore doesn't mean I'm going to die from a little cut like this, you know.

[Ianto ignores him, because that isn't the point and Jack knows it. He tosses one of the towels at him, looking both concerned and irritated.] Here, put some pressure on your arm. See if you can get it to stop bleeding so much.

[Jack does as he's told, holding the towel and using it to apply pressure to the wound] The flowers made me mortal again; the cut was just to see if this whole 'wish' buisnes was true.
