As far as I know, The Rift doesn't snatch people from underground bases and sticks them in the middle of unknown, non-alien cities. Space/time travel does, however, give you one hell of a headache when done through such crude means. Which I don't have.

This, of course, begs the question; where/when am I, and how did I even get here?

Depends on what you mean by 'it'. If 'it' is a rip in the space time that runs through Cardiff? Then yes, it's what we've been calling it for a while.

[pauses a moment to inspect Zelos, raising an eyebrow slightly, then grinning] Captain Jack Harkness, by the way. And you are?

[Martha is obviously happy to see him but can't say as much ;D do note the sparkly rock on her hand that wasn't there the last time he saw her]

Martha- What are you doing here? [a wide grin appears on his face and he moves forward, hugging you tightly] About time I saw a familiar face around here, wherever the hell we may be.

[hugs him back tightly, then pulls out her notepad and pen so she can write

[look turns to one of concern as you start to write] No; Luke mentioned another version of me being here before, one that he befriended.

But never mind that. More importantly; what happened to your voice?

.....Rose?[Just sort of stands thee fr a second, looking at you and not really believing it. the next moment he's hugging you tightly and lifting you up, looking happier than he has in a long while] Rose, it's really you! I can't believe you're here!

And you can even talk!

[Makes a surprised noise as she's lifted up, but hugs back tightly] I can, yeah. One of the lucky ones, I guess.

[sets you down, finally letting go, the grin still on his face] I don't know if I could stand having nothing put pen and paper to communicate with for more than a few hours.

How long do these sort of things usually last for, anyway?
