Yesterday I found out that a friend's stepdad had passed away. He was not in a good way so, like my dad, it was probably a blessing but that does not make it any easier. The fact that it sounds like many of her family reacted to the death in the completely wrong way. This morning I find out that a VERY old friend's dad passed away from a heart

As another whose life is not quite the norm, I know the feeling, though fortunately the funerals have not been too many, the last being my father's a number of years back. The weddings still keep coming, albeit not with the frequency of a decade ago.
