She has completely taken to this port. After finding some food and water, she's decided that nothing's going to bring her down today. She has the camera on her knees, so it's an awkward

Neil! [She looked over, brushing the sand from her clothes. She had emptied the pockets and stored the contents in another place, so that they wouldn't get lost in the water. But the denim was heavy when it was wet and the sand just stuck to it.]

You're burned. [She grinned, not allowing her thoughts to go where they wanted, and put her hands lightly on her hips. She might have made herself a proper swimsuit, but it just meant that more of her was exposed to the sun.]

I think so, too. So the sun has to get its revenge on us. [She noticed him staring but didn't feel awkward with it, like she thought she might. Maybe it was the nice vacation she was having. Maybe it was the beach setting itself, but she didn't mind it.]

It is. That's why I went swimming. I don't think I've ever been swimming in the ocean. A real ocean, I mean.
