I think I like...whatever that was...more than regular floods. At least no one is stuck thinking 'this isn't right!' when they see their friends acting strangely.

I don't suppose it matters much, though. We'll get what we get. The...luck of the draw, yes?

It's alright. We don't have to argue about it any longer. It's...agreed that we're both not going to see the same side.

We don't have to agree on everything.

...You just admitted you were lying. With justification, yes. But lying just the same.

[Ardent was aware he was making a lot of people angry, so walked up to the door, still locked, and shouted through it,] Who's there?

[They didn't sound in a good mood.]

[When she heard his voice, she stopped banging and rubbed her hand. It was already a little red and sore.]

Svetlana. [She was trying to keep her cool.]

[He paused, a little confused, then opened the door, unaware of why she might be angry,]

What is it?

[She folded her arms across her chest when he opened the door. She didn't even wait for him to finish asking the question before she started to speak.] I am not your pawn, Ardent. This isn't some little game you can play. I know you used me to get around your warden's new rule.

Oh it is only a little more than that. I'm just keeping a promise. Do you want me to bring it to you or do you want to get it yourself?

[Have a laugh.] I think that's an appropriate term for it. I can't think of anything better.

He stayed in my room when I was in a coma, and he cleaned before he fell into a coma himself. Then when he woke up, he dropped something from his journal, and freaked out a bit when he saw me reach for it.

He'd written me a letter, and it's the most lovely thing I've ever seen. It made me cry.
